Happiest Kid in the World?

After making the 16 hour series of flights back home from New Zealand on Saturday, I was just begining to think about what I would be eating for dinner that night. Most of the time when I fly back I am greeted with a fridge in the apartment that contains peanut butter, eggs, mustard, and some unidentifiable leftover in a tupperware container. So out of a combination of being lazy, tired, and not wanting to test my fate with the leftovers I go to my clutch “after flight dinner menu” and prepare a nice bowl of cereal. Yum. But not this time! Minutes after I land I get a call from Kelly curious to know what my plans are that night. Saved in the nick of time.

A few hours later we find ourselves at Grandma and Grandpa Puccenelli’s house for an outstanding meal  (and when I say “Grandma & Grandpa” I mean it with much love and respect). I can’t tell you how nice it is having a nice warm meal after so much traveling.

Steve and Nicole also joined us with their new baby Ethan and it was great to see them after 9 months. I say “new”, because this is the first time I think I have met Ethan since he was born. As the title of this post says we were greeted with one heck of a happy kid that night. Kids are always happy aren’t they? :) I couldn’t help but get out the camera and take a few shots of him in his happy state. Some could say it was the nap he took before he arrived or maybe it was the meal he ate that made him so happy, but if you ask me it was the people in the room that night that made Ethan Puccinelli the happiest kid in the world. Enjoy the photos!
