10 days down the coast of New Zealand

I just finished another 10 day tour down the west coast of the South Island. The weather gods were smiling down on us as we were treated to sunny skies and at times temperatures in the 90’s! I have a few days left till I make the flight back home. Keeping my fingers crossed for snow in Tahoe! As always a few photos for your enjoyment below and then the slideshow.

January 19, 2009 - 10:31 pm dad - Thanks, Danny....great shots as you usually create.....did you bungee jump this trip?

January 19, 2009 - 10:43 pm Dan - No not this time! I think that 2 times was enough.

January 20, 2009 - 9:41 am Julia - wundebar brother! I hope you have a safe return home. and it's supposed to rain the rest of the week here - which usually means snow in Tahoe!

January 20, 2009 - 12:04 pm Mom - Thanks! Great shots again!! Wonderful variety also and they are looking ever sharper! Some fine new perspectives ... and of course I loved the birds, dogs and sheep! You had a lot of brave jumpers, one even chose the dip!! Keep them coming!

January 20, 2009 - 3:28 pm Kelly - Love the pics! And you change your photo logo a lot... but this one is my favorite so far. I vote you keep it.

January 20, 2009 - 4:37 pm Dan - Kel: Thanks! Yeah I keep changing the logo to find what works. I'm happy with this one...for now. Thanks for the feedback!

January 20, 2009 - 5:16 pm Pooch - Would "Dan Shaw Photography" sound better than "Photographer" or are you keeping with the current tradition of stating one's name and occupation ala "Joe The Plumber?"

March 16, 2009 - 5:08 pm gwyneth colleen - is that punakaiki? i love that place. i was just in nz last month...a couple days before i left, i hiked down to cathedral cove before sunrise...it was magical. i mean...there were dolphins. haven't blogged those yet, but they were amazing!
